Will I be arrested for my son who refuses to go to his father if I think he is hurt emotionally or physically if he returns?
On his visiting day, my 14-year-old son resisted going to his dad’s house because his dad and stepmother are emotionally abusive. His dad says he has produced an absence report and I will be arrested by detectives if I have my child on Monday. May they arrest me for refusing to go or may I hold him because I fairly assume that if I take him back to his Dad, he will get physically or emotionally harmed? His father has a DV history with me. We have 50/50 custody, but only every other weekend I get a visit.
