My husband and I intend to divorce, and we have a money dispute invested in the stocks 14-15 years ago. For 17 years we’ve been together. After 1 year of marriage, my husband had a solo bank account transformed into a joint bank account.
He had a house before marriage sold off after 1,5 years of matrimony and was deposited in a joint account for investment in stocks and reinvestments in other assets. I’ve been the one who made all the investments in his name and my name.
The same joint bank account was transformed into an only (his) account 5 years ago (2015) due to its uncertainty. When we divorce, it says that the money invested in the stock is its separate property between 2004 and 2006. Is that so? I’d like someone to advise me on this, please.
