In a month or two, my brother received 2 DUIs for marijuana, but everything was pushed back because of COVID. For his first DUI, which was shortened to general disability of driving safety 1st offense, he is currently on 6 months probation (I think) and now he was recently sentenced to 90 days house arrest, but he was also given 5 years probation by the judge. Is that mandatory for 5 years and for a second offense or required? Could he have it reduced? Another guy was convicted for a DUI but for alcohol after his sentencing and blew a 1.1 but only got 1-year probation after his original 90-day house arrest. (He was not told by the lawyer of the 5 years of probation)
My brother got a second DUI to serve 90 days on house arrest, but it is also mandatory to serve 5 years probation?
