I work for a company(Crossmark) that provides SAMs Club clients with samples (mainly food). The samples were discontinued because of Covid 19 at the end of March 2020. Crossmark said we could either apply for unemployment or we could work to do the jobs performed by the SAMs Club Employees while getting the same rate as we got when samples were given and still as Crossmark ‘s employees. Crossmark recently sent out a letter on 9/25/20 stating that we now HAVE to work in the SAMs Club doing whatever job the SAMs Club Manager specifies or Crossmark will view the failure to do so as a voluntary resignation. This is legitimate … Crossmark will make us work like employees of the SAMs Club. Of interest, Hazard Pay / Bonuses have been earned by the SAMs Club employees due to
Covid, though employees of Crossmark do not.
