How can we nullify my spouse’s ex-partner’s rights to his property?
My spouse acquired property along with his partner. The administration was finalized through a contract. Later, she abandoned him and their child on her own accord, moving to another location. My spouse handled all the charges. Fast forward two years to the present, she has now found out about our relationship and has demanded that he sell the property and remit her 50% of the proceedings. We live in the state of New Mexico, and I would appreciate it if someone could tell me the process by which I could nullify her rights to the property.
