At a rehab home, I am a residential trainer. I found a Bedbug family early this year in March , 2020, doing my hour runs, the first time I saw one. That same night, I called the manager to let her know. The director said she was going to put a work order in for an exterminator, which never happened. My move was eased the next day by the boss. She reached the hallway as she was heading into the facility, saw a bed bug and threw it away, and said they called an exterminator. A week or so later, my last day at work was during the COVID-19 pandemic. My work allowed me to use my FMLA for 12 weeks because my kids were out of school. On 8/12/20, I returned to work. My career, when I returned, never told me that the exterminator had never taken place. I’ve been finding bed bugs here and there. I’ve been finding bed bugs on my change ever since I returned to work. My bosses have employed an exterminator who doesn’t know how to spot bugs. I found a total infestation on her bed after this company did a treatment in a client ‘s room. I have several pictures of that incident and other events that have occurred. Today I found a bed bug in my car feeding on my shoulder. I’ve got a rash / no sleep etc
How am I going to get a lawyer, and if I file a complaint, if I am qualified for something, what kind of complaint is that?
