I’m relocating from my current home for about 30 minutes and my ex is moving to the city in which I currently live. She would like to use her address temporarily as my sons’ record address for school to make transfers simpler so that she can remain in the same district until spring. Will that affect my right this spring to use my address (which the judge ordered by his official school address) when she continues to fight for him to remain in his current district? She didn’t fight the relocation, but I’m worried she’s going to try later to argue that she should stay that way because he used her address for a brief time.
Does it nullify the judges’ order that your address be used to allow your ex to briefly use his address for school purposes?
